Who is the data controller?
leonmenu.co.uk is published by an independent UK publisher and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by LEON Restaurants Ltd.
For any privacy question or data request, email [email protected]. We are an independent guide to the LEON menu; we are not LEON and never hold data on LEON's behalf.
What data do we collect?
The site itself collects nothing: no cookies are set by us, no analytics run by default, and no form data is stored.
Pages are served as static HTML. There are no accounts, no logins, no comment sections and no lead forms. Nothing you look at is linked to you by us.
- No cookies set by the site itself
- No analytics or tracking scripts by default
- No accounts or logins, so no profile data
- No stored form submissions
What do the server logs contain?
The web server keeps standard access logs (URL requested, timestamp and IP address) for up to 30 days, then they rotate away.
Logs exist for security and abuse prevention (rate limiting, bot filtering). They are not used to build profiles and are not shared or sold.
What about advertising and cookies?
If advertising is switched on, the ad partner may set its own cookies and personalise ads; you will be asked for consent first where UK law requires it.
Advertising partners (such as Google AdSense) act as their own controllers under their own privacy policies. You can control ad personalisation through Google's Ad Settings, or decline consent where a consent notice appears.
SMTP email (used only to answer mail you send us) is handled by our email provider, which processes your message to deliver it.
What are your rights?
Under UK GDPR you can ask what personal data we hold about you, get a copy, ask for it to be corrected or erased, or object to processing.
Because the site holds no personal data, most requests will come back 'nothing held'. Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month as the law requires. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
When does this policy change?
When the site's data practices change (for example if analytics or advertising is switched on), this page is updated with a new date.
Last updated: 13 October 2026.
